Amsterdam-based DJ/producer Young Marco has unveiled his latest track with the release of ‘What You Say?’. The new drop is available to stream and purchase via iconic UK imprint, Ministry Of Sound.
‘What You Say?’ has already stimulated the imagination of fans at Young Marco’s viral Dekmantel Boiler Room set in the summer with its creative use of Imogen Heap’s classic ‘Hide and Seek’.
“There is something about the vocal sample by the amazing Imogen Heap which feels very current, reflective and healing at this exact moment in time,” Young Marco explains. “My heart skipped a beat when I was listening to it on a rainy day during one of the lockdowns in the pandemic and I knew I had to build a song around it. I could almost already see people’s response to it. To actually see it happen now is quite surreal.”
