Watergate announces second wave of artists for farewell celebrations

Berlin’s iconic Watergate Club is closing its doors after 22 years with a grand farewell series. The venue has announced a second wave of artists for its final events, promising an epic send-off.

The final lineup showcases a diverse array of electronic music talent, from techno pioneers to house maestros. Headliners include Charlotte de Witte, Richie Hawtin, Âme (live),  Sven Väth, Damian Lazarus, Andhim, Jimi Jules,  Joris Voorn, La Fleur, Mathew Jonson (Live), Maurizio Schmitz, Job Jobse, Chris Liebing, Gregor Tresher, D’Julz, Butch, Kristin Velvet, alongside some Berlin favorites such as Pan-Pot, Marco Resmann and Anja Schneider.

The diverse lineup spans generations and styles, featuring techno, house, and experimental sounds. This reflects Watergate’s commitment to musical variety and its influence on Berlin’s nightlife.

As more artists are set to be announced, anticipation builds for this farewell series celebrating Watergate’s legacy in the global electronic music scene.

Watergate’s decision to close comes in response to the evolving landscape of club culture and rising operational costs. However, the club is determined to go out with a bang, hosting a series of special events leading up to its final New Year’s Eve celebration.
