This month marks the one-year anniversary of her groundbreaking project, Frequency Made Music, a label dedicated to merging underground electronic music with therapeutic sound vibrations. With her unique approach, DESNA has created her own sub-genre and achieved significant success in the past 12 months.

Fresh from a captivating debut performance at New York’s Electronic Zoo, DESNA, the visionary behind Frequency Made Music, celebrates the project’s one-year milestone with one of her most intense frequency explorations to date, ‘Spiritual Warfare’. This concept delves into the expression of negative emotions and feelings of oppression towards the soul, serving as a plea for assistance. The EP is now available through Frequency Made Music.

To celebrate this special occasion, DESNA has curated a selection of her top 10 tracks of “high vibe” and healing music.

1. DESNA – 528 Hz Part 1

“This was my first frequency track ever and still one of my favorites. Anytime I play this out the vibe in the room changes completely. It leans dub-techno purposed to put the listener in a hypnotic trance.”

2. ANNA  – I See Miracles Everywhere

“I love that ANNA is doing her own version of conscious music. She started her ambient project this year working with live instruments merged with a meditative intention. A really beautiful piece.”

3. Jonas Kopp  – 528 Hz

“This track is beautiful and perfect for listening/ meditating. I find other artists have experimented with this idea as a one-off and it’s inspiring to see. Most of the music around frequencies is involved in a more relaxed vibe but still good to add to this eclectic list of wellness music produced by electronic artists.”

4. Phonotrip  – 396 Hz

“This minimal track is part of a frequencies series album he produced in 2021. A nice groove with a tried and true minimal vibe. You can hear when the 396 Hz frequency comes on and off which I think is cool.”

5. Antipas  – 396, 639, 963 Hz (Edit)

“This techno-driving track is a really cool example of how to use different solfeggio frequencies in one track. The vibe of this track is in line with my project as it’s peak time for a festival or club while keeping these frequencies forward in the music.”

6. Fabio Florido  – Underneath

“This is a really high vibe tune that doesn’t have any specific frequencies in it yet I added it to this list because it brings me to a lifted place. Music is proven to have therapeutic benefits. It’s why we do what we do. To feel good. This track is perfect for sunrise or to break up a harder set with something uplifting.”

7. Ghost Beats  – Phantom Waves

“Released on a label called ‘High Vibe Records’  says enough as to why I chose this house track. Again, not specific with frequencies yet really brings me to that lifted place I like to feel when listening to electronic music. It’s almost a “dub” drum and bass vibe if I had to categorize this.”

8. DESNA – Affirmations 444 Hz

“This is off of my latest release and chose it because it’s the most unique track I’ve made. This instrumental electronic track was created for the user to say their own positive affirmations to their daily mindfulness routine. I released a version on YouTube using Alan Watts’s vocal as an example of the intention around this track.”

9. Landhouse & DJ Amiga – Higurashi 432Hz

“This downtempo, meditative track is perfect for playing at home, zened out. I love the style as it’s very chill yet not exactly a meditation track. It has something special about it that feels high vibrational.”

10. Verschwender  – 852

“This industrial-leaning techno track has a really cool ambient feel to it. I am not sure if the artist used 852 Hz or not, which is a frequency I’ve used in my music. Nonetheless, it has the right vibe for this playlist as it feels meditative and anxiety-reducing while still appropriate for a club/festival.”
