Sven Väth has announced the release of his incoming ‘What I Used To Play’ vinyl box set. The new 12-vinyl piece collection will ship on February 3rd, 2023, and will be available via Cocoon Recordings.
From his parents’ Queen’s Pub and straight into the spotlight at Dorian Gray, ‘What I Used To Play’ revisits Sven’s past, from 1981 to 1990, and is the result of two years of research, curation, and design.
Described as “the definitive record of Sven Väth’s musical development”, ‘What I Used To Play’ is comprised of 12×12” vinyl records, and features “great pioneers of electronic music, gifted percussionists, obscure wave bands, and innovative producers of a bygone ‘new electronic’ era.”
