Slow Motion selects 10 influential tracks

There are artists who are simply born with talent, there are other artists who develop their craft over the years, but the trait that allows them to find success in their artistic careers is the passion for the art they make.  Slow Motion’s love for music was already seen from a very young age when he strummed the guitar while growing up in an environment surrounded by varied musical influences, from rock n’ roll to hip-hop.

He cultivated an interest in electronic music through its fusion of styles that gave him the sonic identity he has today. Since his emergence on the scene, the artist of Brazilian origins has dazzled with his releases on some of the best labels in the world such as SPINNIN ‘DEEP, Astralwerks, or Bunny Tiger, and now he returns to Create Music Group with the release of his new remix for ‘Forbidden’, the latest track from Dwson.

To celebrate the release of Dwson – ‘Forbidden’ (Slow Motion Remix),  he has selected some of his musical influences.

1. Maverick Sabre – Slow Down Feat. Jorja Smith

“This remix illustrates the sound and style that I’ve wanted to do for a long time and it provides a fresh, house take on the amazing original from Jorja and Maverick.”

2. Roma De Cicco feat Aztek – You Want It

“This one stands out a lot to me because of the vocals and the bass. I find the record very reflective of my personality, too.”.

3. Channel Tres – Topdown

“Best song from my recent discoveries. It has a very cool groove and the track overall is simple and straightforward.”

4. Kalabrese feat. Sarah Palin – Kafi Lied

“More of an instrumental record but it caught my attention immediately. Can’t stop listening to it.”

5. Low Down – Burning Bridges (Border Patrol Remix)

“This style is something I’ll try to do in the future. It has very strong house vocals accompanied by a strong bass.”

6. KAYTRANADA, Craig David – GOT IT GOOD

“I listen to Kaytranada often and this song specifically inspires me to start new productions.”

7. Wesley Joseph – Ghostin’

“Ghostin’ is a very catchy record and Wesley’s voice is so unique. Became a huge fan of his right away.”

8. Bellaire – No More

“This is an elegant song but at the same time very danceable. Good mix of jazz and house.”

9. Anderson, Paak – Make It Better (ft. Smokey Robinson)

“I try to hear this song when I first wake up in the morning. It just makes my day happier.”

10. Solomun – Black Rose

“This is one of the first house records I ever heard and it opened my mind to this style of deep house.
