Onur Ozman links up with the celebrated vocalist Lazarusman for a new EP on Comport. It features their standout original ‘It Hurts’ and comes with a wealth of remixes from the likes of Audio Junkies, Matthias Schuell and Khainz.
Version 1 of ‘It Hurts’ is a dark and complex tune with spangled synths and icy percussion layered over the rolling drums. Version 2 is more freaky and tripped out with the Lazarusman vocals layering in darkness over the top, while the Prelude itself is a vocal interlude that will be great for DJs who like to be adventurous.
The Audio Junkies remix is stripped back and deep, with slippery drums and spine tingling synths all getting you into a hypnosis. Matthias Schuell then serves up a much more melodic version with sci-fi keys and far gazing chords that carry you away into another galaxy. Last of all is Khainz, an edgy version with digital sound designs and a freaky mood that keeps you guessing.
This is a fantastic package from an exciting label that offers plenty for everyone.
