Italian groove master Leon is in a real purple patch form right now, with brilliant releases on labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Snatch! and Moan to name a few, not to mention the important collaborations with Dennis Cruz, Nathan Barato and Hector Couto. He finally makes his debut on AdMaiora with ‘Game Over’ EP which consists of 2 sick original productions. The excellent ‘Game Over’ opens the EP with a mangled bassline that moves under a simple but effective groove where shakers, rides and hi-hats perfectly match with twisted and delayed synths. On the flip, the disruptive ‘Jump’ is more a more tech-house oriented roller. It proceeds with a bouncy and gloomy bassline, echoing stereo percussions and vocal hooks that make of this one the perfect track for some huge dancefloor moments.
