“Six O’ Seven” (6:07) – is the exact time when the world witnessed a devastating explosion in Beirut last year. In a country that was already at economic and political chaos, and in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
During a year that everyone was asked to “stay safe and stay home”, many of our friends in Beirut still don’t have a place to call home after the explosion.
We, as artists, know how important our craft is to the mental health and wellbeing of our communities, and music has always been synonym of hope for our brothers in Beirut. In the current situation its more important than ever. With this, Music For Balearic People will donate 100% of proceeds raised by this compilation to the project Immediate emergency aid for the culture & creative scene in Beirut.
