The Isolabella label welcomes Eleven Of July for a new EP entitled Downfall that includes remixes from Jaden Raxel, Solarquest, and Alexandros Djkevingr & Greg Ignatovich.
The opener is an epic bit of stylish progressive techno with rich melodies that light up the grooves. It’s one to get you in the zone and keep you there. ‘Reverse Reality’ is another classy cut with pixel thin pads drifting up top above firmly rooted drums. Dark but emotive, it’s a stylish piece that has cinematic atmospheres. ‘Jaden Raxel’ remixes ‘Downfall’ into something with bright chords and rubbery kicks, both working to take you into outer space on a real trip.
The Solarquest remix of ‘Reverse Reality’ is a wide open deep techno groove with slick hits and deftly designed chords. They reach out to the heavens and speak of a cosmic future. Last of all Alexandros Djkevingr & Greg Ignatovich remix the same tune into a more driving house cut with chunky drums and plenty of epic breakdowns that will send shivers down your spine.
These are all well crafted and hugely gripping techno tunes that pack a true emotional punch.
