The vinyl features a custom, hand-painted artwork by Roisín O’Doherty with digital design by Monika Karaliūnaite, a printed inner sleeve, and matte laminated finish.
Elaine Mai said: “It’s incredibly exciting to be involved in RSD 2022. I’ve been so overwhelmed by the reaction to ‘Home’ and it feels like the icing on the cake to have it celebrated with the RSD vinyl release and reimagined with these brilliant remixes. I’m super excited for people to hear the new spin on these tracks and for them to be able to get their hands on the beautifully designed vinyl.”
On their remix of ‘No Forever’ ft MayKay, PBH & JACK said: “The second we heard the original, we knew straight away we could put our spin on this! We added big synth melodies and plenty of instrumentation, although the original song did all the hard work for us. Super excited to get our PBH & JACK remix out into the world.”
Described as “a euphoric breath of fresh air” (Totally Dublin), Elaine Mai’s stunning debut ‘Home’ features propulsive rhythms, stirring synth lines, and contributions from exciting Ireland-based artists: MayKay, Ailbhe Reddy, Sinéad White, and Loah. It’s a creative electronic work that has found many fans with The Irish Independent charting ‘No Forever’ as one of their Top 10 singles of the year and multiple glowing press reviews, plus a prestigious RTE Choice Music Prize Award nomination. The music of Elaine Mai is rich with lived-in experience. ‘Home’ represents a patiently beautiful, immediately rewarding celebration of this rising Irish electronic artist.
