Opening the spring season in style, Monday Social welcomes Alehho back to the label with ‘In My Head’. Landing in September of last year amidst much praise, the Cuban artist’s debut for the label ‘Divina / Dawn of Man’ fused global grooves and analog beats. The two-track offering quickly shot to the top of his Beatport best sellers’ chart, setting the stage for the much-anticipated follow-up ‘In My Head’.
Here, Alehho reaffirms his instinctive ability to tip a dancefloor over the edge, through spectral synths, haunting vocals, and emotive key-changing basslines; full of detail and color across a dreamy break, before confidently returning to the groove for a deep yet adventurous conclusion. Meanwhile, making his label debut and providing the lone remix is Alexander Orue. Famed for releases via Enormous Tunes and Ultra Records, the Miami native ups the tempo and drive, with full thumping grooves, wavy arps and growling tones providing a vibrant canvas for those hopeful vocals to work their magic, onwards to a thumping finale.
