Up-and-coming London-based producer Absenol. is back for his second release on Cortese’s label Plaza with the epic, breaks-driven Orange Blossom. The track sparks a nostalgia feel particularly prominent around this time of year with warm bass, delicate synth plucks and epic vocals.
On the flip side, the dissonant vocals and 2-step drums of Bitter Nostalgia hint at a Burial influence taken into a more euphoric, synth-laden domain. Absenol’s most established work to date is a clear sign of things to come.
