Through a beautiful and futuristic EP, Aalson plunges us into the symbolic opposition between man and machine.
The first track, ‘Machine’s Reality’, immediately begins with the rigor of a computer. A binary strong beat dominates the atmosphere, bringing it further until a very surprising and powerful drop, which gives us the feeling of a computer crash. Then, an immersive melody arrives and finally delivers a feeling of real humanity. But in the end, the computer wins and imposes its binary force. That is the machine’s reality.
The second track evokes instead the point of view of human beings. Into a darker and worrying universe, ‘Danger For Humanity’ starts with a deep and heavy bass line, rolling until a robotic voice warning that robots are a danger to humanity and that citizens are in danger because of productivity. After an intense and interminable rise, an impressive siren resonates and seems to give freedom back to humanity through an emotional and comforting break. After that moment, the story continues with a positive energy, which lets us think that this time, humanity has won.
