Renowned DJ and radio personality Pete Tong has just announced the launch of his brand new project, ‘The Pete Tong DJ Academy’. The announcement was made by Pete Tong, who sat down with Jaguar on a panel at this year’s IMS.
In association with leading online tuition program MAT Academy, and co-founded by Carl Cox, ‘The Pete Tong DJ Academy’ is a comprehensive one-on-one on-demand video-based course, that teaches the fundamentals of becoming a DJ. This goes beyond track selection and mixing, covering guidance on etiquette, social media, and choosing your own team.
‘I’m very proud to be launching the PTDJ Academy. A new platform that gives my peers and me a chance to pass on a lifetime’s worth of learning, experience, and skills to the next generation. Our ambition is to continue the legacy and help inspire and evolve the essence of what’s required to be a great DJ. If you want to be a DJ this is the place to start’, says Pete Tong about the new project.
