Regardless of the many cancelations that include Winter Music Conference and festivals like Get Lost and Ultra, Miami Music Week has all the intentions of moving forward with a multitude of events during -what has been for the past two decades- one of the most fun and diverse weeks in the city.
In case you’re in town or you are traveling to Miami despite the Coronavirus warnings, we have put together, as we do every year, a list of the events that we believe will bring you musical joy and true fulfillment of the soul. After all, in times like these is when we come to senses with our humanity and realize why music is so important. Here is our selection:
Monday, March 16th
Illuminate Artists Agency presents No Place Like Miami [CANCELED]
Illuminate Artists Agency opens the week inviting some of his artists including Powel, Adisyn, Nhii, and Wassu. A proper musical gathering for those who are starting early.
Tuesday, March 17th
Electronic Groove presents Warm Up [CANCELED]
We jumpstart WMC 2020 at ATV Record’s mezcal bar and lounge, Melinda’s with, Electronic Groove artists Filizola, Puma, Jason Rault, Nii Tei and platform founder Mauro. As special guests, we have invited German-born artist NHII (Stir Von Talent, Kindisch) and local m.O.N.R.O.E (Get Physical, Cuttin’ Headz, Desert Hearts) who just released a remix of Cassius’ classic ‘The Sound Of Violence’ as is part of the Listed Productions collective. Miami-based collectives, Un_Mute and Confessions, have put together a special 2-day event to celebrate Miami Music Week including top acts like Roger Sanchez, DJ Sneak, Art Department, Davide Squillace, Felix Da Housecat, Hernan Cattaneo, Raresh, Rhadoo, Guti, Sons Of Immigrants, and tiNI. Unlimited games, 3 music stages, arcade, laser tag, bumper cars, bungee dome, XD theater & virtual reality are some of the add ons to this unique event. Game on!

Drumcode Miami MMW 2020 [CANCELED]
Club Space will be the setting for the 20th Miami Music Week edition of the mighty Drumcode, which will deploy a veritable whos-who of the label’s best producers on Sunday, March 22nd, including label boss Adam Beyer alongside Bart Skils, Layton Giordani, Wehbba, Joel Mull and many others. A techno-fix applied by the biggest label in the genre, closing the biggest week for music in Miami.
The Soundgarden Cruise with Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, La Fleur, Atish & Special Guests [CANCELED]
All aboard the Soundgarden Cruise where Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, La Fleur, Matthias Meyer, and Shaun Reeves will make waves (soundwaves) along the Miami coastline in a showcase of the label’s unique vibes on two decks of the posh and spacious Biscayne Lady. Seth Troxler presents Everyone Gets Lei’d
An event that looks back at old-school Miami vibes, Seth Troxler’s MMW closing party promises great music and mad times with a Hawaiian-shirt theme and all-star line-up TBA. Hosted by ATV Records in North Miami, the event will also feature some Mezcal and food specials.
