Marsh debuts on Anjunadeep with new album ‘Lailonie’

The album was written over the last three years.

Tom Marshall, aka Marsh, lands on Anjunadeep with the release of ‘Lailonie’, an album inspired by many of the most memorable experiences of his life, from the most fragile moments to the beautiful places the artist visited while producing it.

The UK-born, Cincinnati-based producer testifies to the healing and spiritual power of music in the face of tragedy, coming together in the wake of the unexpected passing of a loved family member.

‘Lailonie’, which is pronounced ‘Lay-lah-knee’, has been a safe place for me to express a multitude of feelings, moments, and memories that I have experienced over the past three years. The album is a series of snapshots taken at different points while processing moving to a new country, getting married, traveling to different places. I have also experienced the pain of loss. Suddenly we had to say goodbye to Maddy’s mom, Carme, at the end of 2018. I had to learn quickly to love and support Maddy as we process this pain. We live in a world where a lot is happening. I think it’s important to have a safe place that I can go to catch my breath, process life, and grow. Lailonie has been that place for me. I hope it can be that place for you’, says the artist.

The album contains collaborations with various artists including Organic House music producer Wassu, jazz vocalist Leo Wood, British producer Phenoir, Cincinnati vocalist Mariel Beausejour, Austin singer Mimi Page, and Progressive House producer Forerunners.

Marsh’s ‘Lailonie’ is now available on Anjunadeep. Get the album here and watch the video for ‘Foss’ featuring Mimi Page below.
