Turkish DJ/Producer Mahmut Orhan has just released his debut album ‘Pangea’, which is now available on Ultra Records.
‘Pangea’ reflects Orhan’s diverse musical influences. The album blends a wide range of elements, merging traditional instruments with modern dance music. It takes listeners on a journey of emotions and energy, combining pulsating techno beats with soulful melodies.
Named after the Earth’s prehistoric unified landmass, ‘Pangea’ features artists from various cultures, embodying Orhan’s belief in music as a universal language. It showcases talent from across the globe, including Turkey’s Tuana, Lebanese singer Ribale Wehbe, Paul Brenning from Berlin, and Nathan Nicholson from The Boxer Rebellion.
Orhan discovered his passion for music in his hometown, Bursa, through DJing. Despite family expectations, he chose music and achieved success with his 2016 hit ‘Feel,’ catching the attention of Ultra. He earned the title of GQ Turkey’s DJ of the Year in 2018 and has performed at festivals and shows worldwide, establishing his place in the global music scene.
