North American DJ and producer Kate Simko has just released her latest session via the Armigé Agency Series. The mix is now available for streaming on SoundCloud and Mixcloud via EG.

Recorded live at the Panorama Stage on a mountaintop during the SXM Festival in St. Martin, on this set Kate Simko features a diverse and eclectic collection of tracks from various talented artists, including Blunted Dummies, DJ Wady, Afroloko, Allen Craig, Liz Cass, Jansons, Sosa, Jay J, Chris Lum, Onionz, D Julz, Cinthie, Darius Syrossian, Steve Lawler, Carl Cox, Deetron, George Smeddles, Teddy Wong, Paul Johnson, Sally C, Spencer Parker, Ian Pooley, Kate Simko, and Jacques Greene.

Kate Simko, a key figure in American dance music, blends her Chicago roots with piano and music composition. She started in the dance scene with Ghostly/Spectral Sound, joining artists like Matthew Dear and Seth Troxler.

Her discography includes releases on Get Physical, Hello?Repeat, The Vinyl Factory, Leftroom, No.19, and Sasha’s Last Night On Earth, plus film scores for Lakeshore Records. She has remixed Philip Glass, collaborated with Guy Gerber, and co-written an album with Jamie Jones. XLR8R Magazine named her one of Chicago’s ‘Top 10 DJs,’ and she has performed at venues like Berghain, Panorama Bar, Brooklyn Mirage, fabric, and the Montreal Jazz Festival.

Starting her DJ career with a vinyl-only show on WNUR radio, Kate’s influences include Chicago and Detroit heritage, mixed with global tracks. Now based in London, she launched the London Electronic Orchestra and scores for film and TV. Kate has upcoming EPs set for release in 2024 on Nervous Records, Definitive Records, and Get Physical.
