Berlin-based DJ and producer Juliet Fox kicked off her new techno label TREGAMBE with a two-track EP called ‘Time Doesn’t Exist’. The artist took the step with the goal of creating a home for her music, where she felt ‘firmly connected’ and that allowed her to faithfully present her techno identity.
‘TREGAMBE took shape during the quarantine. Running a record label is an ambition that I have been waiting to see happen and the response to the pandemic offered the luxury of time to consider the music I wanted to present and how I wanted to present it. My tastes changed slightly within the techno spectrum and I want to incorporate this into my new productions’, says Fox.
Desiring to further personalize the label, utilize her passion for painting, and explore the relationship between art and sound, Juliet will create the artwork for each TREGAMBE release. For the work of the first EP, the artist was inspired by the love and connection found between two souls and made an abstract painting that uses acrylic on canvas.
