With the passion that characterizes him, Joris Voorn has been arduously working on his productions since he opened his new studio in Amsterdam. ‘Genova’ is the first example of what the Dutch artist is capable to do.
To produce it, Voorn took inspiration from his trips to Italy, specifically to that city, and some house classics, all defined by their solid rhythms and strong synthesizers presence.
“This release was created on a flight to the city of Genova. The name was just a working title, but it stuck with me over time, and made me remember playing the track for the first time on my gig that night in this beautiful city, for a few thousand people”, the artist commented.
