A new musical vision of Africa.
After teasing the release with a series of well received singles, Get Physical unveil its ‘Africa Gets Physical Vol. 2’ compilation album. The selection of 16 tracks has been mixed by the South African duo Kususa and contains 9 exclusive tracks, offering a real vision of the house music scene on that continent.
Label artists such as Bruce Loko, Aero Manyelo, Enoo Napa, Mbulelo, Ryan Murgatroyd and Thor Rixon are part of this special project that shows the world this captivating African sound.
Kususa has teamed up to mix this second edition of the compilation, including their track ‘Isthunzi’ and a remix of Cornelius ft. Jackie Queens, ‘Feel it Now’. Some of the album’s exclusives are ‘Ten 2 Killi’, by Blanka Mazimela, while his mentor Ryan Mugatroyd steps up with a new mix of ‘E Go Betta’ by Dele Sosimi that combines authentic tribal chants with serene deep grooves.
Also participating are XtetiQsoul, Mr Joe, Fka Mash, Siphe Tebeka, Jakinda, Crazy White Boy, and the vocal talent of Nonku Phiri to complete the package.
