Featuring Jamie Principle and Clarian on the first release.

Grammy award nominated Felix Da Housecat just announced he’s starting a new label named Founders of Filth.

On the first release, a three-track EP he features Jamie Principle, who found fame as Frankie Knuckles vocalist and more recently starring in the 2017’s Gorillaz album. Clarian, the Montreal DJ and producer is also included.

Felix commented about the label’s creation, “an imprint where no rules apply.. you can be as creative as you want to be, as a community. I just got so tired of fighting labels and for my people to shine, it went on deaf ears”.

First,  ‘In Thee Now’ demonstrates Felix’s passion for the dancefloor. On the second track ‘Know Thyself’ he transforms into his Aphrohead alias alongside Clarian delivering a warm and playful classic. Last one ‘It’s Your World’, brings in the vocals of Jamie Principle layered over a catchy rhythm and concluding the EP with a dazzling production.
