Everything But The Girl has just shared a brand new single with the drop of ‘Caution To The Wind’. The new cut is a part of their incoming full-length record ‘FUSE’, which is scheduled for release on April 21st.
‘Caution To The Wind’ sees Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt follow up on the release of their comeback track ‘Nothing Left To Lose’, which signaled their first original release in over 24 years.
“Lyrically, ‘Caution To The Wind’ is a simple song about arrival and seizing the moment, so with the music we tried to capture the feeling of a perpetual point in time,” says Tracy Thorn about the new release.
“I let the words quickly collapse and loop inside the production,” explains Watt. “The drums emerge and repeat, and everything then starts to unfold in cycles of anticipation and release. I guess it’s just classic nightclub tension and euphoria.”
