Connecting with the attendees through music in a spectacular environment is the main mission of the event that will run from December 28th till January 26th in Tulum, Mexico.
For the producers, this a dream come true. Finally, there’s a festival designed by Mexican people that gathers gastronomy, art, entertainment, workshops and music’s best at one of the most beautiful locations in the country. The Mexican platform will be presented at Amsterdam Dance Event, and will take place at the Cenote Tortuga in the Mayan Riviera.
The expectations are very high, but the producers know that their secret weapon is the line-up of international artists to be part of ‘Esto es Tulum‘. 11 brand showcases with some of the most renowned labels in the house and techno scene will be the protagonists. Through their social networks, the event’s producers will be announcing updates every 15 days, even though on the latest press announcement they confirmed the inclusion of Muse, Circo Loco, Warung, The Zoo Project, Antz and Ibiza Global Radio.
Moreover, the event will have a special party on December 31st in order to celebrate New Year’s Eve with various shows that will blend the Mexican electronic music scene with traditional instruments of the Mayan Riviera, offering the audience a different way to listen and get closer to the region’s sounds.
“We want to get people excited about the idea of coming to Mexico. We want to the attendees connect in a different way with nature and provide a different approach to the natural spaces of the Mayan Riviera. That’s why we are presenting a show where, besides the great music, the audience will be exposed to an environmental awareness.” said Mario Zetter, Esto es Tulum’s director and producer.
All the festival’s activities will be under the supervision of the region’s environmental authorities, according to Lorenzo Miranda, Director of Cancun’s Ecology. “Besides the fun part, these events bring together people and ideas. That’s why we are pleased with the activities proposed which will give other dimensions to the festival”, he explained.
The difference between this from other events of its kind is that ‘Esto es Tulum’ will offer a series of daily activities for the whole family, done in collaboration with the Mayan communities: ceremonial rituals, guided walks, traditional music and healing workshops, arts and gastronomy.
Tickets for the event will have special benefits with the festival’s partners network, which include restaurants, shops, hotels, bars, and transportation packages. With a daily capacity of 5000 people, the producers expect that ‘Esto es Tulum’ will be recognized as one of the best and most exciting festivals in the world, getting to the same world-class standard of the likes organized in cities like Ibiza or Amsterdam.
Phase 1 prices are in pre-sale with special packages, which will be available for the public in approximately 3 weeks. All the info is on the festival’s webpage: www.estoestulum.com and on the event’s app. Also, a special playlist will be published on Spotify very soon.
