Alejandro Mosso, an Argentine electronic music composer, producer, live performer, and sound installation artist, currently resides in Berlin. With a prolific career spanning since 2002, he is a studio wizard boasting a discography of over 40 EPs and 8 albums on world-renowned labels. Mosso has left his imprint on industry classics such as Cocoon, Hivern Discs, Third Ear, and Sushitech. Additionally, he has ventured into projects with rich musicality on labels like Do Not Sit, When We Dip XYZ, Sol Selectas, Satya, and his own Mosso imprint.
In his collaborations, Alejandro has worked with genre-defining artists such as Ricardo Villalobos, Burnt Friedman, Tim Green, and many more. With his distinctive brand of “musical club music,” Mosso has crafted a unique sonic palette, skillfully balancing electronic and acoustic sounds, navigating the realms of deep house, minimal, tribal, and experimental dance music.
The centerpiece of Mosso’s artistic career is his live show. As a globally touring musician, he has graced stages across North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, performing at renowned events and venues such as MUTEK, Fabric, Amnesia, Space, Womb, Rex, Watergate, KaterBlau, Hive, Cityfox, Arma 17, Garbicz, and Caprices Festival.
In 2020, Alejandro Mosso expanded his horizons by obtaining a master’s degree in Sound Studies and Sonic Arts from the University of the Arts Berlin. This academic pursuit led him into the world of sound art, where he has presented sound and light installation works in art galleries across Berlin. Simultaneously, he has released various experimental and 3D immersive audio projects, including the critically acclaimed “Other Worlds.” As a multifaceted artist, Alejandro Mosso continues to broaden his field of work, leaving an indelible mark on both the electronic music and sound art landscapes.
