Following up on the release of her debut album ‘Human Safari’, Ora The Molecule has unveiled a new remix package for ‘Helicopter’, one of the record’s biggest tracks. The new package features four new takes on the song, courtesy of Eagles & Butterflies, and Anika.
Along with an interesting video directed by Tanmay Chowdhary, the fresh material offers two very distinct remixes, as Sacred Bones artist and Geoff Barrow collaborator Anika brings a sinister, synthesized version, while producer Eagles & Butterflies presents three different reimaginations that draw on the groove of the original.
‘I love how Eagles & Butterflies created a nostalgic eighties disco vibe, with some associations to Todd Terje’s music. Anika made an underground acid mix suitable to sound of Berghain’, said Ora The Molecule about the new reinterpretations. ‘I love how these artists modified the song and gave it completely different feelings, like a new chapter in the life of ‘Helicopter’.’
