DropLabs allow you to feel the music on your fees

They can be used for movies, VR and videogames as well.

DropLabs, a Los Angeles-based company, developed the first sonic sensory shoe back in 2019 with their ‘EP 01’ model. The shoes, equipped with proprietary technology, deliver audio from any connected Bluetooth device, creating audio with a full-body bass, that simulates the experience of live events. The footwear can also be used for music, movies, as well as virtual reality and videogames.

The latest ‘EP 01’ model, titled the ‘Triple Black Edition’, features an all-black exterior combined with innovative technology. Susan Paley, the CEO of DropLabs, who has also worked with Beats By Dre, says: ‘The integrated software platform allows us to continue to refine the experience and provide more unique personalization on an individual level. We have developed a patented technology that we integrate into the sole of the shoe that converts audio signals into vibrations’. According to DropLabs, when these vibrations are transmitted through your feet and synchronized with what you hear in your ears, it is a completely transformative experience for digital entertainment. ‘Although initially conceived to recreate the energy of live music, adding this layer of immersion to videogames, movies and virtual reality is the next level’, she concludes.

The ‘EP 01’ has a six-hour battery life, are waterproof, and costs about $300 dollars. You can see more information about the here.
