Renowned Detroit techno artist, DJ Rolando, has announced that he will be selling a portion of his extensive record collection, which consists of over 5,000 records, and will have approximately 600 records available for purchase. Among these, he has revealed the existence of a “special collectors’ list of extremely rare vinyl.”
The DJ has shared a curated list of vinyl gems, including notable items like the Underground Resistance 12-inch record, ‘Sweat Electric,’ which is currently valued at £1,763 on Discogs. The list also includes other sought-after UR white labels such as ‘Radioactive Rhythms,’ ‘Windchime,’ and ‘Inspiration/Transition.’
DJ Rolando made the announcement on Instagram on Saturday, October 7th, inviting his followers to express their interest by contacting him directly. The selection of records for sale includes a variety of 7-inch and 12-inch releases, showcasing the work of artists like DJ 3000, Drexciya, Norman Nodge, Stephen Brown, Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, and Daft Punk.
