Founded in 2014 in Berlin by the visionary Marco Barbiero, aka Barbur, Barbur Room has evolved from a conceptual project into a cherished podcast show and music channel. It has become a premier platform for some of the finest international artists in the underground electronic music genre.
In 2014, music podcasts had limited platforms for underground electronic music. As Berlin became the electronic music capital, this opportunity fueled the rapid growth of Barbur Room.
Driven by passion and determination, Barbur aimed to create a space that would deliver exceptional music to listeners while providing a stage for both emerging and established artists. This vision materialized through series like Local Heroes and New Talents, which spotlight local DJs and rising stars.
Barbur Room extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the listeners, artists, and supporters who have been part of this journey.
