Brixton Brunch opens its season in Amsterdam

Kicking off on December 17th, 2022.

Amsterdam’s nightlife changes with the seasons. In the summer we’re mostly outside partying at a festival and when autumn begins we move indoors to dance the night away in the clubs. Music has always been a main pull for a night out but it’s also about that feeling of connection you get when you enjoy the music you love with your friends, or even strangers who become friends. To deepen connections we need conversations, but that’s hard to do at a nightclub unless you end up backstage or in some sketchy smoking room. That’s why pre-parties are so common, so you can have a proper catch-up with your friends before the night turns silly.

So what about a day party where you can start off your Saturday with a delicious brunch, catch up with your friends and then party on into the night all in the same space? This is the concept of the Brixton Brunch, which will launch its first event on December 17th, 2022 in a secret location that will only be announced the morning of the party. We love a mystery! This is the first time Amsterdam will have a brunch party concept focused on bringing a mature crowd together to connect, dance, and get wild into the night.

This exclusive event will host 100 people for a three-course meal from one of Amsterdam’s top restaurants and wine bars, Compartir, with drinks flowing freely all day long, so pace yourself! The venue isn’t the only surprise for this event; guests can get ready to expect the unexpected from surprise acts throughout the day and then be taken on a musical journey through house and techno, with a pinch of Italo and disco, or as the headliner, Some Chemistry calls it ‘Electrotropical soytrance from Amsterdam’. A sense of humor goes a long way and when a DJ is having fun you can definitely feel it on the dance floor, so get ready to dance, laugh, and enjoy the surprises waiting for you. The event goes from 1-9 pm for a solid eight-hour party session, and then you can get your drunk ass home or keep the party going in true Amsterdam fashion.
