Blush’ko has unveiled his newest track ‘Hallucinations,’ a teaser from his forthcoming second album with the Sidekick Music label.
Bridging the gap between house and R’n’B, ‘Hallucinations’ exemplifies the artist’s ability to blend heartfelt stories with engaging rhythms. The song delves into the realms of vulnerability and self-reflection, all while keeping a bold undertone.
“The song is about feeling ‘whipped’, knowing you’re being taken advantage of but going along with it anyway, questioning if you’re the problem. I wanted to play with this concept in a cheeky, naughty way,” says Blush’ko.
Acclaimed for performances with industry icons like Goldlink and Jhene Aiko, Blush’ko draws on influences from Tame Impala to Silk Sonic. His upcoming album offers a blend of soul, R’n’B, blues, and surf rock, featuring dreamy guitars, synths, and his signature smooth vocals.
