‘I Want To Know What Love Is’ reached the top of the charts in the 80s, but has never lost its everlasting impact. Now the Canadian DJ and producer BLOND:ISH has released a fresh version of the Foreigner classic, which she presented for the first time during her performance at Burning Man 2019.
“Every year I try to make a special edit for my Burning Man sunrise sets. That particular year I had this great desire to bring smiles to many faces at dawn, just to invoke a little nostalgic happiness together. I couldn’t think of a song more appropriate than Foreigner‘s: ‘I Want To Know What Love Is’”, explained the artist.
After Burning Man, this remix became the anthem for many parties to come. Now, for the first time, Foreginer has approved a remix for its official release. With this track, the artist wanted to make a special rework “to inspire happiness and positivity in people while they dance the sunrise in the desert, really present in the moment”.
