Detroit-based duo ATAXIA has just shared new details of their forthcoming studio LP entitled ‘Out Of Step’. The new album is scheduled for release this November via DJ Tennis’ own Life and Death imprint.
‘Out Of Step’ features collaborations with close peers DJ Minx, Andrés, and Mr Joshooa, as the pair blaze through house, techno, electro, breakbeat and rave music with their own distinct twist, and a dash of soul, funk, and hip hop. Heavily analog, the album experiments with tape saturation, which harks back to the duo’s formative years in bands, recording demos to cassettes
In line with the announcement, ATAXIA has also shared the first single, ‘Detroit Gospel’, providing the first glimpse into ‘Out Of Step’.
