The Recording Academy has announced the nominations for the 66th Grammy Awards, which will take place in Los Angeles next February 2024. Noteworthy nominees in the electronic music category include Aphex Twin, James Blake, and Flowdan.
In the competitive Best Dance/Electronic Recording category, the nominees are Aphex Twin for ‘Blackbox Life Recorder 21F’, James Blake for ‘Loading’, Disclosure for ‘Higher Than Ever Before’, Romy & Fred again.. for ‘Strong’, and Skrillex, Fred again.. & Flowdan for ‘Rumble’.
Blake, Disclosure, Fred again.., and Skrillex are also nominated in the Best Dance/Electronic Music Album category, along with The Chemical Brothers, and KX5 (Deadmau5 and Kaskade).
