Renowned DJ and producer, Andrey Sirotkin, has released a captivating new mix titled EG TECHNO.125. It’s now available for streaming on Electronic Groove’s Soundcloud and Mixcloud platforms.
The mix includes contributions from Ross Harper, Skyhunter, and Sirotkin himself, enhancing its distinctive appeal.
Hailing from Kyiv, Ukraine, Sirotkin emerged onto the electronic music scene in 2013. His initial foray into techno led to the inception of the project, Shade Of Drums, which debuted with an EP named ‘The Universe,’ followed by a string of dynamic releases.
In a notable shift in 2019, Sirotkin embraced hardware sound, releasing an EP under Rune Records while also featuring on various Ukrainian labels. The year 2021 signified his exploration into the realm of self-published singles and modular ambient/experimental music, with significant releases like ‘303 Phalls’ and ‘See You Later’ under the ‘Insectorama’ label.
Undeterred by the adversities of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Sirotkin remained resolute in his musical pursuit, producing deeply emotive releases. He made a triumphant return to Kyiv, launching his radio show, ‘Against The Grain,’ on Gasoline Radio. This move further amplified his dedication to the non-mainstream, deep, atmospheric, and experimental facets of electronic music.
