Toronto native HNTR is back on deadmau5’s Mau5trap for a second time this year with the release of ‘Searching For Self’. The new single is already available to stream and purchase across all platforms.
Following ‘Shadows In The Dark’, HNTR continues to explore techno-inspired progressive house, where synth chords and arpeggios build over rolling bass notes to form an unbreakable bond with Tribe Alexander’s hypnotizing vocals.
‘My buddy Tribe sent me about 12 vocal demos, this was the second one I listened to and I was instantly hooked by the entrancing repetition of the vocal. It grabbed me and spoke to me instantly, I wanted to try to use that same feeling in the production to help amplify that feeling of searching for something.’ says HNTR about the newly released collaboration.
