Kognitiv Records label boss DeVante signs release number 11, a groovy tune meant to make you dance, as the name suggests, which comes in a hefty package featuring a radio version and two remixes.
The mood is serious, but the groove is strong on ‘Make Me Dance’, an alluring, almost 7 minute-long house burner built around a wailing vocal and an infectious bassline. Electronic music stalwarts Frankey & Sandrino offer up their take on the track, adding their signature sound into the mix. Australia-based producer MED33P joins in with two remixes, taking on both the original and the radio version. With a declared affinity for ravey chunky beats, he sticks to his recipe and adds zest and oomph, infusing more dynamism into the tracks.
Kognitiv Records will donate a percentage of profits from every release to a different mental health charity in an effort to create further awareness and provide support to people suffering from mental illness.
