The LP will be released later this year.
During the last year in quarantine, Belgian DJ and producer Maxim Lany saw fit to create a complete album full of hope and positivity. That story begins with the release of ‘Shadows’, a song that will be part of his album ‘Closer, You’re Not Alone’.
Regarding the album, Maxim Lany says the following: ‘The concept of my debut album arises from the realization that all people struggle with the situation in which we find ourselves. I felt that I could make music to help others and myself, to show them that we were not alone in this. ‘Closer, You’re Not Alone’ is about bringing people together in a closed world and using music to focus on the positive’.
The newly announced single, ‘Shadows’, is a captivating track, full of vocal excitement, magnificent string sounds and melodic layers, and also features the collaboration of Nathan Nicholson. ‘For me, this song is about someone you are close to, whether they are in this world or not, their presence is always felt …. Someone up there is your four-leaf clover’, Nicholson says.
