East London nightclub FOLD has announced the launch of a new label under the same name, the first release of which is an EP by British producer Gareth Wild. The 4-track material, titled ‘Common Assault’, will be released on limited-edition vinyl.
Side A opens with ‘Livewire’, a deep melody filled with haunting vocal chants and deep percussion. Along with the ‘Livewire – Roll Dann Remix’ which adds a touch of energy to the original. On the opposite end, ‘Common Assault’ brings an acid wobble from a bass line with dark drums, while the beat of ‘Saturn Storm’ completes the EP with energetic techno. An exclusive digital bonus track, ‘Livewire – Roll Dann Remix 2’, will be available for download.
