“Our vision is simple, as one of the largest landowners in the district, we see it as our responsibility to continue the renaissance started by our predecessors and peers, creating a neighborhood catered to the creative class and cultivating Miami’s future as a cultural capital for Latin America.” ~iii Points
The highly anticipated three-day festival iii Points boasts a lineup that is brimming with dynamic and solid cutting-edge international and local Miami artists. Returning to the Mana Wynwood for its fourth installment, this eclectic music festival takes its name from its three thematic pillars: music, art and technology.
Founded by David Sinopoli, the grassroots organization started out as a celebration of local talent in 2013, but has since grown into a lodestar for general festival goers who have an affinity and appreciation for hot climates and music diversity. iii Points is geared towards shedding light on Miami’s talented local acts, vendors, artists, thinkers, dreamers, doers and idea people.
Over the course of its 4 year inception, iii Points has successfully evolved into an exciting and promising music festival that brings psychedelic art, impeccable sound systems, and an artist roster that would give festivals across the globe a run for their money.
Last year iii Points, made sure that this evolution was apparent and witnessed as organizers went above and beyond typical festival standards to transform the Mana Wynwood venue into an urban festival playground. By itself, the Wynwood Art District is known for its art displays and wide range of restaurants. Putting iii Points in the heart of Wynwood, and turning the warehouses of the Mana Wynwood into stages, is what puts the event leagues ahead of any other EDM festival, giving the audience a true feel of old school raves of the 90s.
Judging from the list of artists added to the iii Points experience, there will be no musical stone unturned, showcasing such well known greats as, LCD Soundsystem, M83, and Thievery Corporation lead an impressive lineup that also includes Flying Lotus, Method Man & Redman, Earl Sweatshirt, Dixon, Oneohtrix Point Never, DIIV, Thee Oh Sees, DJ Koze, Denzel Curry, Sophie, Pantha Du Prince, Andy Scott, Junior Boys, Ben UFO, Dusky, Jessy Lanza, Jacques Greene, Museum of Love, Dawn of Midi, Jacuzzi Boys, Flight Facilities, Maya Jane Coles, Little Simz, Fatima Yahama, and many, many more.
The support and inclusion of local talent will add more anticipation to the festival where partygoers will have the chance to see some of their favorite acts like Craze, Behrouz, Lazaro Casanova, Diego Andres, Uchi, Santiago Caballero and Dsan to name just a few.
Over the three days of the festival, III Points will offer attendees a diverse and eclectic array of music talent on a gallery showcase and a fully immersive 5 stage on the main ground.
In addition to the stellar performances, there will be large-scale art and technology installations showcased throughout the venue, as well as the surrounding Wynwood community, to showcase III Points’ commitment to cultivating Miami’s modern, artistic development.
Day programs will feature art gallery shows, demos, lectures, and “a special virtual reality experience that will transport guests to another dimension,” according to festival organizers.
