Run by veteran DJs and producers Luke Hunter, SpinnZinn and Franccesco Cardenas, Typ3 Records is a label born from the desire to publish fresh, innovative tracks from emerging artists, building a quality output release by release.
For 2019’s Winter Music Conference and Miami Music Week, Typ3 have created a 17-cut compilation album, which rounds up their hand-picked roster of producers to leave their respective mark in one of the biggest weeks in electronic music worldwide.
With a scope that ranges from deep, soulful grooves to peak-time monsters, the music in Typ3’s WMC/MMW 2019 compilation covers a lot of ground and is sure to have a bit of something for every underground dance music lover. Progressive vibes abound, with melody taking center stage in almost all the tracks, but tight, moving rhythms are also well represented, so the experience feels like a satisfying one that brings pleasure not only to dancing feet, but also to wandering minds.
This compilation makes a great sampler to discover new names and sounds from all over the world, a very interesting listen that will surely bring something new to more than a few DJ’s set lists.
