The French Dj dusted off his pseudonym.
David Guetta wants to show a facet that he experienced in his career’s early years and that sometimes he brings in counted live performances. The artist responsible for commercial hits such as ‘Hey Mama’ or ‘Titanium’ just published new music with the alias of Jack Back, the one he uses to experiment with a deeper sound.
Although he has a dance album about to be released, which is called ‘7’, the artist has just shared the first 12 tracks of the alter ego that had not been shown to the world for some time. The songs were presented simply as ‘Jack Back Mixtape’.
“I started with underground house music, playing in all the underground raves and clubs in Paris. I want to make music just for fun, without any commercial intention. I want to do all the music that I like, I do it for the love of music”, Guetta said in a recent interview on BBC Radio 1.
