Exposing record artworks by Pablo Picasso, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, and more.
The ‘Art & Vinyl’ exhibition just started at San Francisco’s Fraenkel Gallery. Curated by Antoine de Beaupré is considered to be the first of its kind, exploring record art specifically crafted for music. The collection includes more than 100 artworks, and sketches an idiosyncratic history of the related topic from the mid-20th century to the present.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a 464-page hardcover catalog and runs from January 4th to 8th March 2018.
