Since its inception, the label has had a successful journey.
Scotch label Soma Records is about to release its 500th musical production inviting label heads Slam with three memorable tracks.
Their latest EP features two Slam remixes from the Robert Hood ‘The Bond We Formed’ track that was initially taken from the Soma25 compilation. The first remix brings elements of Hood’s original drum workout together with Slams spacial sequences. The second remix sees the pair go retro with a homage to the minimal master, utilizing proper 90’s tripped out tonality.
The B-side is a rework from a Carl Craig remix of Delia Gonzalez and Gavin Russom’s ‘Relevee’, converting it into a full techno anthem.
Soma 500 will be out on September 1st. Grab your copy here.
