Primavera Sound Barcelona has unveiled its 2025 lineup, featuring established icons and emerging talents across genres. The 23rd edition of the festival will take place from June 5th to 7th at Parc del Fòrum.
Breaking new ground, Primavera Sound introduces three female headliners: Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter. This choice not only reflects gender balance but also captures current music trends.
The festival boasts an impressive roster of 147 artists, curated to represent a wide spectrum of musical styles. Highlights include LCD Soundsystem’s return with new material and iconic dance-rock anthems; FKA twigs’ genre-defying artistry; HAIM’s California-infused pop rock; Jamie xx’s signature electronic soundscapes; Beach House’s dreamy pop melodies; and IDLES’ powerful post-punk energy.
Primavera Sound 2025 will also celebrate musical milestones with special anniversary performances. These include Spiritualized’s ‘Pure Phase’ (30th anniversary), The Sabres of Paradise’s reunion (30th anniversary), and Suso Saiz’s live debut of ‘Música Esporádica’ (40th anniversary).
The festival’s “matryoshka” concept promises diverse musical experiences—from Sturgill Simpson’s country to YOASOBI’s J-pop, and Amelie Lens’s techno to Kali Malone’s neoclassical works—catering to varied tastes and encouraging new sound discoveries.
Beyond the main event, the Primavera a la Ciutat program will bring music to various venues across Barcelona, seamlessly integrating the festival with the city’s vibrant culture.
