Back fresh from our new The Remixes series, we welcome Maze 28’s Futura City and his transformative Mourning Dove. Our journey is further enhanced by the reworks of Freedo Mosho and Prototype, making the most out of the ample canvas provided by Mourning Dove.
Exuding a profound sensibility, Futura City’s Mourning Dove is a smoldering seance that takes us on a spiritual voyage through complex ambient textures. Unfurling with utmost restraint, Mourning Dove blossoms to uncover a more sensual side of the Albanian producer.
The first reconfiguration comes courtesy of our underground mastermind, Freedo Mosho, who brings his deeply cut groove to the fore while the mystic airs provided by Futura City embellish the piece before a lush breakdown finally seals the Argentine producer’s spell.
Our second reconstruction is brought forth by the newly launched Prototype project, as he travels the multiverse to imagine Mourning Dove’s darker side. Armed with a powerful frame and solid low-end dynamics, Prototype deploys dubbed-out synthetics for a late-night joyride.
