Berlin’s third annual Rave The Planet Parade  will take place on August 17th, 2024, under the motto ‘Love is Stronger.’  This cultural-political demonstration celebrates peace and electronic music culture, echoing the spirit of the Berlin Love Parade. Set on ‘Straße des 17. Juni,’ the event expects to attract 300,000 people united by their love for electronic music and vision for a better world.

The 2024 edition features 30 floats and over 260 artists, transforming the parade route into a mobile, open-air club. This impressive lineup includes notable acts such as BamMobil, Docklands/Fusion, MAAYA, Symbiotikka, and Verknipt, alongside various DJs and performers. Other notable participants include APHØTIC, Alle Farben, Bebetta, Cassy Raptor, Dr. Motte, Farrago, Isabelle Beaucamp, Mark Dekoda, Westbam, Simina Grigoriu, and Tube & Berger.

Adding cultural significance to the event, UNESCO recently recognized techno Culture in Berlin as intangible Cultural Heritage.

This year introduces two official anthem versions of ‘Love Is Stronger,’ created by Westbam, Dr. Motte, and Tom Wax. Since 2019, Rave The Planet has advocated for various political demands, including protecting techno culture and revising noise regulations.

The parade promotes inclusivity, opposes discrimination, and emphasizes environmental responsibility. Measures include a deposit cup system and deposit islands for returnable bottles. Post-event cleanup activities in Großer Tiergarten further demonstrate a commitment to sustainability.

Rave The Planet, the non-profit behind the event relies on donations to sustain its initiatives. As the date approaches, anticipation builds for this celebration of love, music, and unity, showcasing electronic music’s power to unite people.
