Russell Small & DNO P have breathed new life into the track ‘Nothing To Lose.’ This reimagined version marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of Phats and Small’s iconic hit ‘Turn Around.’
Originally brought to life by the Freemasons in 2015, this refreshed version of ‘Nothing To Lose’ showcases the vocals of Katherine Ellis. The track is set to infuse positive energy into pool parties, Ibiza dance floors, beach gatherings, and backyard celebrations.
The song kicks off with Katherine Ellis singing, “We’ve got nothing to lose / It’s no good without you / Boy I make no excuse…” Her vocals are complemented by valve keyboards and classic house beats, evoking nostalgic moments on the dance floor. The track is further enriched with slap bass, funk guitar, and synth strings.
Looking ahead, Russell Small & DNO P are gearing up to release their album ‘Earworm’ to be out on September 28th, 2024. record promises collaborations with vocalist Ben Ofoedu of Phats & Small, and contributions from Ultra Nate, The Illustrious Blacks, and Lulu.
