Len Faki has released the final installment of his ‘Fusion’ remix series, ‘Fusion Remixes 03/03’. This series includes selected artists reinventing tracks from Faki’s double LP ‘Fusion’, which was originally released in 2023.
The remix series kicks off with a standout from Herbert, who offers a psychedelic spin on ‘Don’t Be Stupid Day’. The track, one of the album’s most memorable vocal pieces, has been transformed into ‘Herbert’s Brain Dub’. This rendition takes a slow, playful approach, turning the clever lyrics into captivating hooks.
Irish artist Cromby adds a fresh spin to ‘Fusion’s house tracks. His remix of ‘It’s Time (to Move Your Body)’ is a dynamic anthem with a pulsing acid riff. The ‘Blackjack’ remix energizes the original’s synth lead, offering a thrilling sonic journey.
The collection ends with Glaskin’s reimagining of ‘Gamma’, an album highlight. They transform the original into an engaging techno track with a driving beat.
