DJ Holographic, an emerging talent in Detroit’s house/techno scene, recently debuted her new label ‘Through The Veil’ and also shared her latest single, ‘Gemini.’ This track blends elements of disco, funk, and house, setting the stage for her upcoming album, ‘House in the Dark.’
‘House in the Dark’ is an ambitious project by DJ Holographic, with plans to release a new single every month for one year. Each single represents a sonic exploration of a different zodiac sign, reflecting the artist’s deep interest in astrology, which she credits for bringing transformative healing into her life.
Her creative process uses shadow work, a psychotherapy technique, to unmask hidden aspects of her personality, providing insight into her personal history, relationships, and occasional creative struggles.
For vinyl enthusiasts, a vinyl version will be available every three singles.
